If Nicky Romero produced dubstep and remixed “Symphonica,” we imagine it probably wouldn’t sound better than this. That’s just a guess though. (Nicky is one of those producers with tricks up his sleeves.) The gift laid before you is a monstrous take on the major hit, and like the secret you’ve never told anyone, this creation makes its home in the dark underground of your imagination. Blasted with both air and synths, Suedes’ “first attempt” at dubstep is a feat of creativity. It seems like you would expect a generic twist with a wobble here and there that doesn’t really induce energy or excitement, but this is completely different from that. Each drop is layered with a different unique sound that gives the melodic phrases a variable depth that makes this mix a repeat offender. Keep your eyes out for this guy. Big things are coming.
