UPDATE: You can listen to it on Soundcloud as well.
In case you missed all of yesterday, Daft Punk‘s fourth studio album Random Access Memories, which is the most highly anticipated album in recent memory, is available for listening a week before the official release date (May 21). We’re unsure whether it’s a publicity stunt or an anti-piracy measure, but what’s definite is that Daft Punk is breaking all the rules yet again. By allowing a completely legal medium for tasting before the official date, it seems the robotic masters have seen the future and responded in kind. There’s a ripped copy of the stream in 192 kbps in .zip, if you go hunting for it (it’s not hard to find), but we’ll just have it looping on Grooveshark until we can get our hands on the real thing. Expect us to give DP the red carpet treatment in the coming days. Do you think this will affect their album sales? I guess we’ll find out soon enough, but for now, we’ll just deal with the buffering, as this is truly a gift from the biggest name in EDM. Let us know what your favorite track is in the comments below.
